That food meme

You know, the list of 100 random things that you have/won't/might eat/en?

I feel a bit jaded, because out of the entire list, the only things I haven't tried are:
SpƤtzle (oooooh, why don't we have that here!?!?)
S'mores (Sounds great to me)
Phaal (hahaha, why would you do that?! Likewise for raw Scotch bonnets... if I wanted to try to beat the Scoville Scale, I'd help myself to Uma's capsaicin stash!)
Mole Poblano (see above, though I could be tempted)
and snake (I've had croc and gator and reptiles just aren't very tasty).

Of the other things on the list, the only things I can't recommend are borscht (anything involving beetroot that doesn't involve roasting or pickling is off, beets taste of dirt!), whole insects (a Colombian pal bought dried honeypot ants from home... marmite flavoured dried corn kernels, essentially and murder to get out of your teeth), baijiu (it's like drinking EtOH out of the dewar if you ask me)and SPAM. Food names should not be acronyms.

I finished my CV by the way. Sending it off tomorrow. Might send it to another lab in Brussels too (the Vriej Universiteit). Not that I speak any Flemish whatsoever.

Spatzle are rather good. S'mores are overrated.

Mole Poblano - I'll have to make another batch and feed it to you. It's dead good.

OOh does this mean that I might have had it at one of your brunches?

I don't think that I've made it for brunch; it's not really a brunch dish, and it takes quite a while to make the mole, let alone cook the turkey to go with it.

I'll try and knock together a batch over Christmas (it freezes really well) and have another brunch/lunch in the New Year.
