Today has been mostly pictures of 95% burns patients before and after autologous stem cell therapy, first year PhD students with very little sense squabbling loudly either side of me and expecting me to sort it out, overlong train connections, Whitechapel grime, grey skies and swollen face.

Ameliorated by... well, OK, I'm going to watch a documentary about a man who eats roadkill.
And the fact that one of my best and oldest friends became a dad yesterday morning and is over the moon. Its very, very strange. Even stranger than when my sister gave birth, actually.
