So, yesterday was one of those days where nothing seems to mesh correctly, leading to misunderstandings and upsets wherever you go and whatever you do. I have a feeling that excess oestrogen might actually misalign one with the Universe in general.

On the plus side, today, after a week of failed online bookings, I managed to pluck up the courage to phone a Belgian hotel and book my conference hotel room IN FRENCH, before 9am. I almost feel adult. God damn I need more coffee though.
