Took a saw, secateurs and the lawn mower to the back garden this morning. I fought a good battle, but I can't say that I won exactly. Bramble scratches... so very itchy... Maybe The Hobbit is correct and napalm is the only sensible solution.
Now plotting applique-ing a moai onto a 1970's yellow polka dot maxi sundress that's been on my mending pile since last summer. Clearly, if it sported the likeness of a gigantic head made of lava I'd wear it more!?
Starting to wonder about the practicalities of property ownership and what the hell I am going to do for a job in 6 months time.
