Almost midnight and (as usual surprise 11th hour) presentation still not finished. I can't even see straight any more.
Today's been mostly spent on the train: the 8.50 finally arrived in Waterloo around 11.15 this morning, a mere 55mins late. The doors in one carriage sprang open somewhere past Woking, prompting the emergency brakes to come on and some poor soul to have a panic attack necessitating a doctor to attend....
RNA extraction took 2 hours longer than I'd budgeted for, but at least the yields and purity look good.
Still no word from my sponsors on my funding dilemma. I hope they sort it soon because QM are wanting £6k in stipend repaid if they don't cough up before Oct 31.
