It appears that I shall be 36 on Wednesday, and I rather cunningly used this as a pretext to visit prosepina in Cambridge with maracacha, educatedpork and Ye Hobbit for the weekend. Saturday we visited the fascinating Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, which was really lovely. The collection may be relatively small but the quality and range of exhibits is enormous. All sorts of inspirational artifacts from animated Polynesian masks to Sepik mammary prosthetics to laquered steel samurai armour to Inuit seal-gut sewing kits to ebony and mother-of-pearl snakes'n'ladders boards. Wonderful weekend had by all, including hours spent hurling David Hasselhoff into funfair rides and stuffing ourselves silly with A's sublime roast everything dinner.

Today, back to the grindstone. Just got back from work: too tired to cook, too broke to get takeaway. MINIONS. WHERE ARE YOU?
