*insert favorite blasphemy here*
Nov. 29th, 2008 09:03 pmAt this point, where my floor is totally covered in beads and crochet cotton, that bead crochet is possibly the most frustrating thing I've ever tried to teach myself.
I get a maximum of 5 rows in before I inevitably realise that there are 2 less beads per turn than there should be, try to unpick it to correct it, go back too far and then have to start again... The crochet structure is virtually impossible to see, the thread keeps splitting, the beads slip all over the place, the hook falls out... This is not a craft for the terminally dyspraxic.
I am going to have to have myself a deep breath and a large Baileys (out of a shoe). I refuse to let it beat me, it's too pretty when it's done. Plus, I want to make Turkish snakes!
