That was the week at work
Mar. 7th, 2010 06:47 pmFirst week at work went OK, though I think it is fair to say that things are different in private healthcare compared to the NHS. More on that as I get my bearings. Anyhow, I've spent a week running a histopathology service, cutting up various organs and lopped off lesions and becoming rapidly reacquainted with various solvents. To be totally honest, I am actually really glad to be back in a position where I feel that I know what I'm doing, and the job seems a lot more diverse and challenging than I thought it would be. So, watch this space. Still no news on the viva date.
Working a normal working week and still trying to do the same amount of housework is proving a bit challenging, but I did manage to finish Jamie's pegbag that I promised him at Christmas.

Tomorrow, back to work. I don't seem to have had a weekend... must try harder. I guess it'll shake down soon enough. Interestingly one of myminions members of staff did medicine as a first degree, but then decided that medical careers were not compatible with having a life. Well, I can surely relate to that.
