In which I am a GURL

For the first time in about 6 years, I found suddenly that I had no remaining shoes that kept my feet dry in the rain and which I could walk in. SO I WENT SHOPPING.

( In which shops were shopped in and shoes where shod )

Saw Moon last night too. Man that's bleak, makes Solaris look like a picnic. Good film though, I actually really, really liked Kevin Spacey in it. Also saw Swamp Devil. What on earth Bruce Dern was doing there, I really have no clue. Kinda fun though and better than it had any right to be.
Also we discovered the single least heterosexual kick-boxing film in the world in Poundland, BLOODFIST IV: honorable mention to Bouffy McHairspray the Chinos King and Trix Lipgloss-Thighigh the shimmying faux lesbo-stripper with HAMMERS FOR FEET for elevating the 80s-osity quotient to uber-Erasure levels. It even managed to kind of be Repo Man, no mean feat for a martial arts film.
Also saw CastleFreak, a hitherto unheard of Jeffrey Coombs/Stuart Gordon film, wierd even by Jeffrey's standards.

Feel better for a proper weekend off, this week's going to be just as hellish as last week though, if not more so. Oh well.
