Given that my PhD is ostensibly in Academic Medicine...
...How come I am involved in more politics than I ever wished to see in my life? I did a PhD to get AWAY from this kind of thing. I would start a campaign to remove politics from academia, but I've spent all weekend writing posters again and don't have the energy.
I did however watch Warnings (I include spoilers here, but that's OK because under no circumstances should any of you watch it) and Whispering Corridors (which I was expecting to be schlocky but actually was pretty damn good) in a semi-comatose state and start playing Haunting Ground just in time to pass out.
