The Isle of Wight was glorious, if a tad wet and windy. I would put up more photos but I don't want to make you feel inadequate: I took this picture of Freshwater Bay! ***PROUD*** (...and it was the best of the lot really, unless you are particularly partial to windswept Hobbit photos). Walked my little socks off and got massively muddy during some ill-advised cliff-face scrambles at extremely high tide. Had some amazing food at The New Inn in Shalfleet, rambled from Totland to the Needles and from Brook to Freshwater past amazing cliffs and seascapes and totally failed to find any fossils at Yarmouth. Feel much better for it, and am now back on track with the PhD: two more abstracts accepted this week for poster presentations WOO!

I don't seem to be very good at writing in this lately. Dunno why. I feel a bit, um, introverted. Good Lord.

Don't think I am going to make it, since I'm not really handling being around people that well at the moment. So, yeah, you'll just have to imagine me dressed as Medusa. Or perhaps a Road. :)
