I vivdly remember having the school shot taken; the photographer kept saying "say curly wurly, my darling" and I really wanted to kick him somewhere painful.
I like that though, the other pictures are adorable, but the school photo has (despite the uniform) a bit more personality shining through. I see a glimpse of the gnommi I met ten years ago (yeah, it has really been that long).
Good thing my mother doesn't have a blog, or she'd probably post all our (me and my sister) embarrassing kid photos.
arggh. I dislike navy blue. I dislike it even more when you see something on the other side of the room, and think it would make a smart outfit, then you approach (thinking it's black) to find it's and off-black dark navy colour. Don't even get me started!
I feel the need to scan some of mine in now that I rescued from the bin when my ever loving mother was having one of her clear outs! There is a frightening picture of my mum, gran and great gran, nah I was never going to be a looker!
WHAT. Your mother is the one who is supposed to outshine all our comments of endearment. I guess it's the British way though. Come to Canada. Our parents love us here!
