So here I am, still at work, assessing a migration experiment at four-hourly intervals. I've just assessed the first one, and most of the data set looks great.

EXCEPT

I am missing 4 crucial data points because I seem to have no cells migrating through my membranes at all for them. Why on earth could this be?

On closer inspection, there ARE holes in the membranes, just waaaaay too small for my cells to get through. Going back to the labels on the individual well insert blister pack (with a magnifying glass, too small to read otherwise... and of course the labels look identical to the "right" ones on first glance), it seems that some chimpanzee had put one blister pack of 0.3 micron pore wells into a mostly full box marked 8 micron pore size to make it full again... and re-sealed it.

WHYYYYYYYYYY? WHAT WERE YOU MORONS THINKING?!?!

I am hereby revoking your science license and hunting you down with an elephant gun.
