Vroom vroom!

This one turned out to be the bastard offspring of a Mini Cooper and a representative from my favorite beetle family, the Chrysomelidae. Chrysomelids are amongst the prettiest beetles, and also some of the most destructive. Plus they have the cutest hairy feet EVER... and not only cute, but extremely sticky! (Note that I am not the only one to be inspired by Chrysomelid feet).



Much better progress on the thesis today. Still not done with the discussion for this chapter. It will be done by the end of the weekend though. YES IT WILL. Come hell, or high water, as they say.

Also, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies continues to amuse me. Will expert Shaolin martial-artist Elizabeth marry the abominably proud Mr Darcy, or will the walking death claim him as it has her sister? Tune in tonight after lights-out to find out...

I am alright. I am working silly hours, but then also spend time on stuff like this and fb as I have no attention span, which is annoying the bejeezus out of me.

I was going to come in tomorrow but I have to go and see the lady I am about to start doing data entry for on an ad hoc basis. YAY MONEY etc

I confess I never got beyond the second chapter before, couldn't tell anyone apart except for Darcy. Way too many girls too. *yawn*

...now i still can't tell anyone apart except for Charlotte (on the grounds that she can no longer speak), Elizabeth (on the grounds that she narrates), Kitydia, the two headed nymphomonster (ok, so that is my invention) and Darcy. But now there are zombies so it doesn't really matter!

Still feels like it should have Hugh Grant in it though... a bit too Notting Hill rom-commy for me on the whole, but brains all over the place stops it from being too distressingly chintzy
