What a lovely golden tench! Put up quite a struggle, broke prosepina's line before I finally hooked and landed it...



...and here is a rather fine portrait of the leviathan from the depths*.

A good day was had by all, nice catches all round.

*(Caught in still-water on 5BB balsa drift-beater float + 3 yellow/white maggots on #12 barbless hook, in case you needed to geek out a bit. Maggots as ground bait.)
