Friday afternoon I think I set a new record in coffee breaks. Went to meet a mate for coffee at 14.30, left the pub at 23.30... The company was most congenial and somehow we ended up having a lively debate about politics, philosophy, science and who knows what else with a couple of Turkish and Chinese traders from JP Morgan that we met en route for hours on end.
Yesterday I spent a pleasant afternoon harassing my friends' chickens, one of which has a disturbingly bald botty. Chickens, despite looking decidedly saurian, are actually quite docile and friendly critters. They're surprisingly warm and soft under all those tatty feathers and they REALLY like scratching gravel and soil around. It's quite relaxing to watch them pottering about doing chicken stuff.
Today I have the cold from hell. I can't even see straight and I must have sneezed about 200 times. I need a nose transplant. I'm making bread and cottage pie and trying not to drip in them or cut my fingers off.
Hobbit thinks its karma for winning all the drops in Karazhan and heroic Magister's Terrace. Check out Squombles now! She is teh ubar!
