THIS, Discopathology, could be the best album in the WORLD

Way to go, L. But put a freakin' shirt on already... heheh

In other news, my dear friend and colleague, and purveyor of quality risque anecdotes: Professor Nick Wright got KNIGHTED, for services to medicine. Congrats to Nick and Vera, when's the piss-up?

Glad you like it. Didn't get any mail from ya, so wasn't sure it had arrived. Did Chris G. give you the other thing I forgot to send first time?

And when I took that picture it was 31 degrees C, in a fur coat..no way was I gonna wear a shirt (hows that for logic?).

truly it is the logic of El Luciani, (sorry, Luke Cypher, heh heh), wouldn't expect anything less :D

chris did indeed pass on ?bint from odemajo doremi? thanks :)

dave and I managed to snarf the Pocky in under 24 seconds. YES, THE WHOLE BOX.
We had to dismantle the futon to get the crumbs out afterwards though, such is the price of gluttony.

Great album. I love it, Dave hates it. My mail is not my friend at present, sorry... Am spreading the love around London. I have a few acquaintances who DJ at various "in" places, so I'll try and force it on them (so to speak).

I've gotta get a better name, one that I can actually remember. "Lucifer" / "LCFR" kinda stuck due to Rik AKA Deseptagon, but while it's ok for some kind of tripped out nonsense like "Noise/Girl" it's far too close to being taken for post-modern "irony" for my hip-hop stuff (and I hate that - "oh it's ironic, so that's an excuse for everything"). Luke Cypher somehow ended up in a review in a magazine (not sure exactly how it got scrambled, probably an idea I had one day, one of those things that looks kinda fun and interesting for half an hour)...although I like "El Luciani", very dashing. I could have a mask and a hat like Zorro.

Just "Luke" would be fine but somehow it always looks like it's missing a second part.

"Vin Deisel"..wtf?!!???? Does this mean after my "noise" stage I gotta start making albums full of hijinks about saving orphaned puppies by mercking badmans with my Korg?

Actually, I kinda liked him making great comedy out of terrible space opera..

ie.

Necromonger: "YOU!! WHY do you not KNEEL?!!"
Vin D: (shrugs) "I'm not with them"

The keychain/figurine is, I believe, "hana-chan" from "ojamajo doremi". I thought cute might still be your thing.

And 24 seconds for a whole box of pocky...that's a record. Less than 1 second per stick!? Impressed. Pockymonger?

Anyway, good luck with clothes-mongering!

you'll be proud of me, i've actually spent the morning so far reading up on deriving standard deviation and perfoming anovas. i'm grappling with excel tutorials too, those error bars will be mine, MUAHAHAHA. (But probably some time after the maths-induced headache subsides).

Blech, bring back the sewing hassles, all is forgiven. In sewing news I'm up to 3 shirts, 1 skirt done and another skirt and shirt in the pipeline, probably finished by tonight. Plus I've manage to de-wax a few things that I'd previously assumed were dead. The old "iron and newspaper" thing REALLY works!

Thinking of going to Lady Luck tomorrow with Chrissie and Laura (remember her?), but I'm not sure I feel up to "vintage" music all night.... I think I might have had enough of brass at Lost Vagueness. Have you heard anything about it? I think they did the Vegas room at the Rubber Ball this year

o_O

Who'd have thought?

hm, something went odd there, the "lady Luck" paragraph goes underneath the "who'd have thought"

This reminds me, Col brought back our Excel for Dummies book if you need a borrow?

Go you on the maths, I need to look at that but the thought is making me feel sleepy at present.

If its the same music as RB I would only get drunk and try and teach you to Lindy hop on gin! I quite like the sound of this actually however unfortunately I have a house guest arriving in Cam at 8 who needs an early night for the family wedding she's going to next year.

I will come out very soon I promise, timings haven't worked out so well for me of late unfortunately but I am in the mood for late night silliness.
