another headache

gnommiA good day today. Courtesy of my flatmates FINALLY paying up their bill money: a fine time was had by all at TRASH last night. ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
maracacha even got to wear her new silver boots of silliness and not fall over.
The surprise band turned out to be The Liars, which were pretty fun actually. Thought I was going to hate them, but there is a lot to be said for 2 psychotic drummers 2 feet away, a NASTY guitar (sometimes 2: drumming AND playing guitar at the same time is quite a feat) and a "singer" like Dr Nick gone feral. The godawful visceral noise made up for the occasionally grating art-punk posing.
Nice to spot Rory Pink Grease yet again, even if his roots are worse than mine... Much dancing was done (take THAT spare tyre!!), and 2am eating of felafel.
Big news is: I HANDED IN MY NOTICE ON THE FLAT!!! I'm almost sad to go, as I've developed a real soft spot for the incredible diversity of Wood Green. Regular sleep will definitely be nice though...
So, I'm heading back to the grotty environs of Southampton for a bit, but hopefully I'll sort someplace a little more restful in the City soon.

Tell ya what, all that stomping around has really made the front of my things hurt... :S
