1. Spring cleaning can be hard on the soul, still, out with the old, in with the new.

2. Brighton Pride was more fun than a barrel-load of monkeys.

3. I am pining for the fjords, or more specifically, Manor Lakes and a pint of maggots.

4. I have ALMOST finished The Technical Paper. ALMOST.

5. I am sad that Maria and Robert have flown away, but looking forward to Claire wearing Maria amidships like a tellytubby.

6. I am sad that my carefully nurtured courgettes lost their flowers in the Great Rainstorm yesterday

7. I am going to try my utmost to go to see the Gormley on Sunday. Possible companions include

hobbit_dave, tlrmx.org,

maracacha and Divers Others. Will confirm nearer the time.

8. Pruning friends is hard, but not *that* hard when you reflect that they wouldn't really need pruning if they were really friends.

Edit: I actually drafted this to post on Tuesday. Strange how events can conspire to make you realise that you never quite realised how true some of your ideas were! Et tu, Brute?

2. I was disturbed by people dressed as palm trees. I have no idea why.

I was disturbed by the people dressed as helicopters! The propellorhead things were kinda cool though!

Did you go on the Fair Of Ultimate Doom? We went on the Chair-o-planes and caroline was nearly sick, so I got tragically banned from the more exciting rides...

I went to the fair and won an inflatable willy, but I was too disturbed by the amounts of smoke coming off the fairground rides to go on them. Emma went on the bucking bronco and lasted about 10 seconds before she fell off and got hit on the head with the horns.

oh god yeah... i have a feeling that the smoke on the big pole thing with a pod at one end might have been intentional. but you never can tell!
there were some scary scary things there...
surprised i didn't bump into you! mind you, we were sat under a tree for most of the day
